Wanted : Administrator for new Emulator section

Feel Like Getting Involved

I will soon be starting to overhaul the Emulators section. This section will be setup using the new database system used for the roms and will provide users with downloads for emulators for various computers for as many platform formats as are available.

In order to help me continue to develop this website and its contents I am suggesting that one of you become the administrator of this new section.

Your role/job will be to source and upload emulators for all the various formats into the correct folders and then post the updates in the forum. I will provide whoever is selected with their own FTP access and the ability to create/name folders to upload the emulators to. Your work will be immediatly visable and this will provide a great deal of help to me.

I am asking everyone that is interested to record your interest in this topic. The best person for the job will be selected and will be given full recoginition for their support in running this section.

Please give this some thought and let me know if you are interested. I currently have enough to do just developing the engine and uploading roms.

I am still working on the ROM engine at the minute once this is finished I will start the Emulators section and its Engine. Once this is done then I will need you guys to start populating it with he emulators. Stay tuned for an update soon.

What do you mean, populating it with roms? I gave you three NES roms in your email (zipped or rar'd, I can't remember) and you still haven't added them to your roster. I know you didn't have these three because I triple checked.

FF3 (the game, not just audio) completely translated into english is something I think you'd have jumped all over... FF3 never had an english copy... and here it is, completely translated and in original format... that's just epic...

My plan is that once the engine is in place for the emualtors that the administrator will be responsible for:-

1. Sourcing the best and latest emulators for as many different platforms as possible from across the web and download them
2. Create the appropriate folder on the website (format to be decoded)
3. Upload those emulators to the new folder
4. Add screenshot and blurb to SQL database

Job done. Interested, let me know.

As for those other roms, That was left until I got the new server/rom engine etc etc. I will dig out that email and add those roms later today.
