HT, do you know what person I have to speak to to get a list of the PC games you have on the site?
So that I can compare them with my list?

Cheers

Thanks!

Is it possible for you to give the filelist using the following command?

dir /A:D /b

So that you get all directories, but only in one column, without the date etcetera?

I started building a batfile to filter this out, but it wasn't working. It that loops through the directory, opens the .txt files and tries to get the last column out of them using:

Code: Select all
@ECHO OFF
Setlocal EnableDelayedExpansion

:BEGIN
del files.txt
del filelist.txt
dir "e:\check\*.txt" /B > files.txt

:MIDDEN
REM ****************************************************
REM      Files doorlopen van e:\
REM ****************************************************

for /f %%a in (files.txt) do (

   REM ****************************************************
   REM      Variabelen setten
   REM ****************************************************

   set str=%%a
   REM set letter=!str:~-1!
   if not !str!==files.txt (
      if not !str!==bytes (
         if not !str!==free (
            for /f "skip=7 tokens=4,5,6,7 delims= " %%b in (%%a) do (
               set regel=%%b
               echo !regel! >> filelist.txt
            )
         )
      )
   )
)

:EIND
REM del files.txt
goto einde

OK I have done what you asked but remember that /A:D does not produce that output in Windows 7 CMD. I used

dir /b *.* > %%F.txt

Where %%F is the current folder.

Hi te_lanus,

I see you also own a retro PC. Would you be interested in a voodoo 2 card?
Got a spare laying around!

I know this is off topic but just so you all know, I have quite a large collection of retro PC stuff from P1, P2 and P3 CPU's, DIMM's, SIMM's, RIMM's and display cards as well as sound cards and heatsinks etc. I am happy to sell or swap stuff to help people out.
