Mega-rom-packs for game series

Postby fanman93 » Fri Nov 18, 2011 4:54 pm

This might be a lot to ask for, but wouldn't it be awesome to have all the games in a series (Like Mario or Zelda) in one archive? That way, one could say that they've actually played ALL the games in a particular series.
Android is probably the best thing ever.

It is a good idea. If people want to suggest a pack and its contents I could make them up and upload them.

Some idea's:

Mario
Zelda
Megaman
Castlevania
Metroid
------------------------
Commander Keen
Leisure suit Larry
Space/Police/Kings quest

I'd say at least 5 or more games would be required for a pack.

Maybe themepacks are also an option (shooters, rpg, etc).

But I recon it's a lot of work! So the above list are just idea's :).

One request: if you do do a Zelda archive, please keep the CD-i games separate. For one thing, they aren't official Nintendo cannon, and for another, they're Disc Images that take a longer time to download. (That, and they suck more than a black hole :chainsaw: ) The archived games should most likely be cannon, if they have a story; the biggest exception would be Mario, since there are tons of spin-offs that we can't ignore.

Hmm, I partly agree. It was something Nintendo was party involved in if I remember it right,
but you're absolutely right the download would become far to large.
