Woohoo we just passed 150,000 roms

Postby Hot Trout » Sun Apr 25, 2010 8:02 pm

Id like to announce that we have just passed the 150,000 rom mark with no sign of slowing down. The only thing that will stop this is storage space. We have 220GB of storage but will need a lot more once the upload of Dreamcast roms starts.

Anyways, 150,000 roms and counting  :D

What? That's odd, I have (just installed) a 320 GB sATA HDD... How could you only have 220? Is that the ISP limit, or is that just the amount of space the HDD's have... (I assume you would have two HDD's in there, a 120 GB and a 100 GB simply because 220 is an odd number for a single HDD, unless I'm completely mistaken, then carry on... :p) :ugeek:

The drive is a 250GB but has other partitions used by Apache for temp and log files.

Carry on :P

Yea, but you could have installed a 1 TB HDD or even a 2 TB HDD, they're really cheap nowadays... :D

They're not cheap when your hiring one from an ISP. Remember that our server is dedicated in a 5MB/s datacenter in florida.

See, now you never said anything about being in florida... I seriously thought you had the thing at your house, and was paying for a separate internet connection for it there... I didn't know it was in florida... but yes... I could buy a 1 TB HDD for 99.99 USD. :D IDK, i'm bored... >.> :P
