Hi

Postby te_lanus » Sat Jan 15, 2011 7:30 pm

Hi, I'm told to Introduce myself.

I'm te_lanus. I live in the south point of Africa. I'm somewhat old, I'm told by the kids these days.

I started gaming way back in 1981ish. Still have the First three games that I got, here is a pic of them:

Currently I'm into emulation, quite deep, I like to collect roms of systems that doesn't get mainstream recognition, but it's not easy. I like to help out where I can.

Any questions just ask

A very warm welcome to the site and community. I am also on a mission to provide every rom for every system and then make them available here for everyone to enjoy.

I appreciated your link to new roms and hope you will continue to help me increase the numbers of systems we have roms for.

The rest of the gang will most likely also pop in to say hello.

:welcome:

To my most sympathetic and dear friend, Te_lanus. We have had a very long realtionship, that of two and a half posts. (yes Te_lanus i count the halves) and i just would like to tell you that i look forward to the future, nay, i look forward to a future with you at TheOldComputer.com. yes a future bright with hope! hope that more than just a couple of people will browse the good old TOC Forums. yes and with your help, Te_Lanus we can make that future a reality if we just work together and feed the starving hungry children. thank you america!

" lump in throat, deeply impressed" You have my vote for president, Jose, even though I am Canadian, and if they don"t let me vote, I'll start another Boston Tea Party or War of 1812, or something like that. Just a little tip though, you better start kissing the toothless grannies as well to have a real shot.

pssst, over here in dark corner, now that I have pledged my vote to you, once elected, would you kindly skim a few taxpayer bucks my way? :D

BTW ingeneous way to welcome a newcomer :thankyou:

Hi. I assume to introduce myself.

I'm from a mid-sized town in the middle of the united states, and I just found this site.

It really looks to be the place for me. I've been emulating games since I was 11 and have always been incredibly interested in video games in general. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I'll be as open as possible.

HotTrout, you're providing the world with a great great service, and it's a great great site for such a thing.
