Mame4droid didn't work for me right away. In fact, I wanted to scrap the whole thing after days of trying. Test the zip files. If they are corrupt, use another browser to download them.

I need help, where do i get ROMS for MAME4droids? I am using a Sony Experia V-LTE and i am battling with with making these games play...i have already downloaded the app but i get a message about ROMS. Please assist..

I recently purchased an OUYA Console and installed Mame4Droid with some roms I hand picked from this (Rather Excellent Site)

Unfortunately I am having issues with some ROMS
Shaolins (Shaolins Road - Konami)
This is a game I would love to play, The bootleg version works but colour is distorted so I would be over the moon if I could get the main rom to work.

That URL above has an explanation but unfortunately I don't have Mameui - I am hopeful that I am just missing a few things that I need to place with the roms, any help with this would be appreciated.

Shaolins Road was called Kicker so I needed that Rom for Shaolins to work.

Use that link above and type in the name of the ROM at the top, it should say if others are needed for your game to work.

I've since encased your link in a 'code' bracket so that the link is not in a clickable URL form. I'm not trying to deter you from the site but we don't advocate nor appreciate solicitation (however inadvertent) to competing sites. That being said...

Awesome bud, I'm glad you were able to point out that some MAME ROMs require parent ROMs to run properly. I don't do ROM management on the site here, or know much about MAME for that matter, but hopefully we can address this for everyone in the future. Thanks for pointing that out, I appreciate it!

That's understandable, I meant no harm and just wasn't thinking.

Reference the Parent Roms I managed to get all the games working so am really happy with Mame4Droid.

For Marble Madness I had to also download this (atarisy1) so it would work
Some Taito games require (Taito FX1) and as stated certain Neo Geo games need (NeoGeo) to work.

I managed to get Donkey Kong / Pac Man / Moon Cresta / Ghosts'n Goblins and many others to work, If anyone gets stuck with Mame 4 Droid Roms I will try and help if I can.

I cant get Dig Dug to work on Mame4droid.
I have included namco50.zip, namco51.zip, namco52.zip, namco53.zip, namco54.zip and namco62.zip in the Roms folder but I still get the message that I am missing roms.
Other games work fine. Are there more roms that needs to be in the roms folder for Dig Dug to work?

Hello all!

I'm new to MAME4Droid and have everything running but one thing:

I can't remap the buttons for each game.

I'm running it on a Marquis MP977 9.7-Inch Tablet with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. I have an Ion ICade controller. It's connected via BlueTooth.

I know I can remap the buttons in settings but I can't change the buttons for each game individually. In MAMEUI64 you just hit Tab ingame but there's no option for this in MAME4Droid.

Can anyone help?
