Galaga not working with XMAMEOSX-0.135

Hi,
I was hoping someone could help me. I am can't get galaga to work with MAMEOSX-0.135. I have tried a few different rooms and nothing has worked. Anyone have any suggestions?

I suggest you get the latest SDLMAME for MAC OS X which is at v0.154 so you can use the latest romset and don't forget to install the SDL Runtime Files v1.2.15 for SDLMAME.

Out of all the rome Galaga is the one i am having problems with. Does SDLMAME work with emu launch?

SDLMAME is the same as XMAME so it should work but let me know if it doesnt...I don't have Mac but I will do my best to help you...

Thanks so much for helping. I have everything setup running great with mame os x except for galaga.i was going through the forums and I saw this...

I have downloaded all the Galaga roms for my Mame OS X ver 0.135 and no luck. Any help to get it working is very much appreciated.

Is there a version of galaga on this site that I can download to work with 0.135. I wonder what he did?

Have you tried doing an audit?
Do you have namco51xx and namco54xx roms?
They are needed for Galaga....

ok i downloaded 51 and 54 roms put them in the folder. I also downloaded galaga and audited it still doesnt work. =( is there something else i can try?

I have no idea at the moment. what does the audit say exactly? Does the game show up in the list? The emulator start at all? Are you using 0.135 or 0.154?
