Looking for old computer game, similar to Adventure.

This is a game I played long, long ago, before I could really read. I was in kindergarten, so this game was 1991 or earlier. It played on a computer system, not a console system. It was very similar to Atari's famous Adventure. You went around from room to room, and the object of the game was to collect all the square pieces of a puzzle, take them to a particular room, and assemble the puzzle there. This game even took the idea of dragons that can capture you from Adventure. Surely somebody must know what game I'm talking about!

Was it being played on an early PC or a Tandy TRS computer ?

I was 6. I couldn't really read, so I couldn't tell you what my kindergarten had. I only know it was floppy-based. Back when floppies were actually floppy. But that could be any playform.
