Hi Hot Trout,
first of all, congratulations for your wonderful site and contents, it's really FANTASTIC!
When i discovered it, i just registered and maked a donation, to get full access to site content, expecially Amiga sets ;)
Amiga is my favourite retrocomputer, and seem is your favourite system, too ;), but now i have a different request: the latest Future Pinball set, Future Pinball (2012-08-05).
I know it's a huge romset, but it's a very good set and it would be fantastic if it would be part of your collection! :) Obviously, i'd appreciate it very much! ;)
Another thing: i'm an expert of emulation and frontends (expecially hyperspin), and i have many romsets collection, like latest DEMUL set (0.5.7), No-Intro Set (Amiga, Megadrive and many others), ScummVM and FM-Towns full set, and i'd happy to share them with you and others, uploading them on your site.
Waiting for your response, meanwhile i wanna THANK YOU again for your good site and work!
See you (virtually) soon! ;)

Hi Leander and welcome to theoldcomputer.com. Thanks also for the nice introduction to yourself, nice meeting new enthusiasts on the site.

If you do not hear from Hot Trout for a few days, please be patient, he is not ignoring you, I think he is on vacation with his family for a bit. But he usually checks in frequently so you should have a response fairly shortly.

Mean while thanks for your offers to the site, it will be greatly appreciated. :good: :welcome: & :thankyou: :goodpost:

Welcome Leander to theoldcomputer, you are correct I am a massive Amiga fan and a scene founder from the late 1980's. I am guessing your name is taken from the game on the Amiga by the same name?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leander_(video_game)

I already have an up to date collection of Future Pinball tables at around 8GB. I never thought of uploading them before but I am now going to sort them out and make a new section in the roms section. I got into these from playing the Pinball games on the Amiga which are still some of the best pinball games ever made.

I hope to be able to start uploading this collection before the end of this week. I go on my hols this Saturday and wont be able to work on the site for two weeks. So I will try my best to get this done for you before I go.

Great to have you here and when I return we can further discuss your other rom collections. You should go over to the IRC chat room to stay in touch more easily.

Welcome and enjoy our small but perfectly formed community. Remember to spread the word when out there in the interweb. :good:

After a busy real life days, i'm here again! ;)
First of all, thanks Hot Trout and crustyasp46 for welcome ;)
Second of all, i hope you (Hot Trout) have spent your holiday well ;)

Answering to your post, Hot Trout:

About my nick, you are (obviously) right, Leander is my favourite game on Amiga! ;)
It's really a pity that is hasn't be insertend on this fantastic amiga tribute video (enjoy it! ;):
Legend Do Not Die: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCknYDTE6Pc

About Future Pinball set, the up to date set (2012-08-05) is over 35gb, but uploading your set (maybe Future Pinball CLEAN SET (2011-04-14) of 7.45gb?) it would be a good start point! :good:
Hovewer, i'm really considering to download the 35gb set from Pleasuredome tracker (it's really huge, but i have a sufficient SR to get it).
An alternative could be get tables on this site:
http://www.pinsimdb.org/pinball/index-10-future_pinball
It's updated always and frequently, but it's a really hard work get them (no multiple tables download available, only single downloads... :headbang: ) and it isn't an ordered and renamed set.

About collaboration with you, i'm really happy to help you if i can, starting from future pinball set, if and when i'll download it from PD. :bow2:

Finally, about irc chat room, i just entered into, i only have to do channell registration procedure, i'm going to do it immediately! :typing:

See you here or on irc!

Actually I have not been on holiday yet, I go tomorrow for two weeks and unfortunatly did ot get my set complete before leaving. I will try and remote onto my main machine while away and start the upload.

I was working on the Clean Set from Aug 2012 if that is suitable.

Ok, so good holiday to you and your family an/or friends ;)

About future pinball set, exactly wich set are you collecting for upload?
Because the future pinball CLEAN set (7.45gb) is over one year old (exactly 2011-04-14), while the latest set (that i requested, over 35gb) is NOT clean (i think, because it's huge and isn't specified on torrent title on PD).
Recently, PD publish another pinball set, exacty Visual Pinball 9 CLEAN SET (2012-09-10): maybe are you collecting this set? Future Pinball tables are better than Visual Pinball tables, hovewer VP set is a good set to collect, too! :good:

Hovewer, THANKS of all, and see you soon!
