Hi there,
Setting up a front-end can take a lot of time. I have a setup with the 'HyperSpin' frontend. There I have emulators and games for most systems, including a MAME emulator for the arcade classics. A lot of work goes into setting up all the emu's to work with HyperSpin and making sure you have all the correct files and renaming conventions.
If you are interested, I have made a (ready-to-go) USB-stick setup with a HyperSpin front-end. This stick will turn any PC into an arcade machine powered by HyperSpin.
With emulators ready to run your whole game collection! (direction to any games can be given on request).
What you solely pay for, is the service that has been done. Over 100+ hours have been invested in realising the following product, this will save you an amazing amount of time.
* Making a portable version of emulators and the skin 'HyperSpin' (freely available)
* Finding and setting up all the movies, artwork and naming conventions that fit to loads of games.
* Fast (32gb or 64gb) USB 3.0 stick (or USB 2.0 for 20 euro less).
Each stick includes a manual I wrote where you will see how to add your own games.
I've got two versions I offer:
"Basic"Includes ready to go installation of HyperSpin, needed patches etc., artwork, movies, excellent games and all of the following emulators:
* Atari 5200 (+10 games)
* Atari Lynx (+10 games)
* MAME (+10 games)
* Neo Geo (+10 games)
* Nintendo Entertainment System (+10 games)
* Nintendo Gameboy (+10 games)
* Nintendo Gameboy Advance (+10 games)
* Nintendo Gameboy Color (+10 games)
* Sega 32X (+10 games)
* Sega Game Gear (+10 games)
* Sega Master System (+10 games)
* Sega Megadrive (+10 games)
* Super Nintendo Entertainment System (+10 games)
* TurboGrafX (+10 games)
"Extended"* Includes everything from the basic version, and includes a ready to go installation of DaemonTools, more games, artwork and movies for the following emulators:
* Atari Jaguar (+10 games)
* MSX (work in progress) (+10 games)
* NEC PCFX (+10 games)
* Neo Geo Pocket (+10 games)
* Nintendo 64 (work in progress) (+10 games)
* Sega DreamCast (+10 games)
* Sega Mega CD (+10 games)
* extra 200+ SNES games
* extra 200+ NES games
* extra 200+ MegaDrive games
* extra 200+ TurboGrafX games (less art)
For most emulators (especially MAME) I have added more artwork than games.
So the MAME emulator has movies & artwork for about 2000+ games.
For the basic version I use a 32gb usb stick, USB3 which will cose 60 euro.
For the extended version I use a 64gb usb stick, USB3 (for optimal performance) which will cost 99 euro.
I can also change the stick from usb3 to usb2, then that will be resp. 45 euro and 79 euro.
System requirements:* 2.0 Ghz with 2 or more cores
(P4 will do, but less performance)
* 2gb ram (more = better)
* Videocard with 256mb and OpenGL support
* Correctly installed sound driver (onboard is ok)
* One USB2 or USB3 port
* Administrative rights on your PC
If you have any HyperSpin specific questions or if you would also like to have one of the ready-to-go sticks, feel free to ask.
For how to make or apply games, just send me a message!
Best regards and game on!
