TimeSplitters 2 - Anyone remember this gem?

I was thinking about this game the other day and I just really want to play it again. This game was an amazing game for it's time, and there was a third called TimeSplitters: Future Perfect but I didn't like it as much as 2. Now I hear mention of TimeSplitters 4 being in production, but I can't find anything other than that Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical Design, creators of TimeSplitters) said they were making another TS game... which would be the 4th installment. Supposedly it's going to be for Xbox 360 and PS3, but who knows, at the rate they're going with it, it may come out on the next gen of consoles slated to come out next year. Microsoft has a new console coming out next year according to Playstation Mag and Xbox Mag, and it's beginning to look like TimeSplitters 4 will be on it. >.>'

I have never played this game but it looks very like an unreal tournament round and i played that a lot. Good post.

You really should find a copy of it HT and give it a go. The game really is phenomenal. :3

sorry for digging out this old thread, but I simply had to answer - I always thought I was the only person to ever play (and love) that game

I just read up on Timesplitters 4 on wikipedia to find out that it apparently is not going to happen what a shame ... I loved all three of them (starting with TImesplitters 2, buying the original Timesplitters after finishing it and of course Timesplitters Future Perfect when it came out)

Yea, I really wish TS4 was getting finished, that would be sweet... but alas... It's not. There's no such thing as digging out old threads, we always love a good conversation. :3

Yes i remember Timesplitters on PS2 it had cartoony like visuals,verry nice FPS and always get good scores in the games magazines,its a shame that its not go on the Xbox360/PS3.Greetzz from the Netherlands
