THIS SERVER IS NO LONGER IN OPERATION! THANKS TO THOSE THAT PLAYED ON IT!

I'm personally starting to host a weekly Doom or Doom 2 server on skulltag from my own personal computer every weekend for our community and the skulltag community to enjoy. If you're interested in playing some Doom or Doom 2 with us, all you have to do is get on Zandronum (http://zandronum.com) and get in the match!

THIS SERVER IS COMPLETELY AT MY DISCRETION IN ITS NAME AND OPERATION SINCE IT'S ON MY OWN PERSONAL ACCOUNT WITH THE SERVER WEBSITE (HOT TROUT APPROVED)! THIS ALSO MEANS THAT THE GAME SERVER IS NOT LOCATED ON THEOLDCOMPUTER'S ACTUAL WEB SERVER.

Now that I've said that, here is a full list of the rules.

RULES

#1 - Read the Message of the Day (MOTD) when joining the server! This one is self explanatory. :3

#2 - Leave your baggage at the door. Do NOT cause any drama or you will recieve a permanent ban from the game server, no warnings!

#3 - Respect. Do NOT disrespect other players/spectators, SHARE health and ammo because items on the game server DO NOT RESPAWN!

#4 - Chat about what we could possibly host next week!

#5 - Wrongfully banned from the gameserver? Please make a post here containing your skulltag username and your IP address, if you don't know your IP address you can go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ to find out. Please explain why you think you were wrongfully banned, and if approved, you will be un-banned as soon as possible. Do not just say something like "I was banned can you un-ban me?" This will not be accepted and you will not get un-banned for just simply asking to be.

if dosbox weren't so damn slow on my computer i would join the fun in a heartbeat!
plus for some strange reason, my isp changes my IP address everyday

ok so i went to the skulltag web sit and i got confused, do i need the original dos release of doom/doom2
or one of the re-releases?

In order to play online, you have to have Skulltag installed, and be using it. You only need the DOOM2.wad and the DOOM.wad files from their installations in order for Skulltag to work. Skulltag is technically an online build of GZDOOM, which is an OpenGL source engine for DOOM to run in. :3

ok, so i have good news and bad news,good news: i got skulltag up and running. bad news:i have no idea how to get a skulltag user name. plus like i stated before, my isp changes my IP address every time i connect to the internet. how do i get a skulltag username?

my player name is Dragon Mech but i if your server is online only in the afternoon i won't be able to play.
because of my current living arangment (please don't ask about it) i'm only online between 3AM and 9AM CDT.

I just added a server called Hot Trouts Hall of Death. I will leave it up and running so that you guys can come and go as your please.

Let me know if it works. It is using std wad files for now.
