Sega model 1 emulator

Hi All, new user here, tried to search the forums for info on how to play sega model 1 games, i dl a few and really want to play star wars arcade, i cant seem to find an emulator anywhere for model 1,

i have the model 2 one with nvidia 3d setup and its awesome!! i found this site by accident last night whilst looking for SW.

can anyone help how to get model 1 roms working,

Your best starting place is MAME for emulating the SEGA model 1. There are other emulators but many are discoutinued and no longer developed.

You can find just about every version of mame ever made in our emulators section.

Hi Hot Trout, really stupid question, how do i get a model 1 game to work in mame? i did some searching on google and couldnt figure it out, do you have a tut section here, or maybe you can point me in right direction with a link??

I am not the best to ask about mame. Hopefully the other guys on here (te lanus) will post soon with their considerable knowledge.
