Log in Issues : Problem Solved (16-09-2011)

I am an Unlimited User, and when I try to login to the site it says "Wrong username/password". I copy/pasted the same username and pass that I use here to login and it still won't let me in.

Ok I read through the FAQ's, I cleared my cookies, password, history, etc. I logged in to the Forum and typed the EXACT same username and pass for the site, and it still says "Wrong Username/Password".

You know what, I just had this issue earlier today at college... It wouldn't let me login using my forum credentials but the forum is letting me log in just fine.

Yea, I cannot log into the roms database, something is wrong with it HT. Confirming Phealoon's issue.

I just checked it there now with my accounts and they worked. Not sure what is wrong. I will look at this more tomorrow.

In the mean time try loggin in again to make sure.

I can't log in to the main site either. I am also having other small problems, like randomly being taken to other websites, and not being able to see the size of a ROM when it downloads (it says xxxKB of Unkown.)

Guys can you give me exact references. Which ROM and for Which system. If possible could you post a screen grap of the errors. I am not finding any issues but that does not mean that they dont exist. Strange.


Also, try changing your password in the forums and see if that works?

Changed my password, still didn't work. I was trying to download Doom for PC Abandonware, but tried logging in everywhere including the Emulators section and the SNES section.

The site that I was randomly rerouted to was a video site that had old TV shows (I'll screenshot if it does it again, but it hasn't happened yet today.)

The thing not showing the size of the download has been happening for a while, but hasn't bothered me enough to say anything. It doesn't affect the download in any way, it just doesn't tell Chrome/Firefox how big it is.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth as I can't log into the ROM's area (anywhere), problem re password etc though it will let me log onto the Forum. I had this problem when I first joined and thought it may have been because I was using a Hyphen in the password so I changed the password to have nothing other than letters or number, it all was working till now. Could just be bad garbage collection routines or (your guess would be better than mine).

I am using WinXP (nonPro), Mozilla Firefox 3, Avast, Zone Alarm, Media Player Classic Home Cinema.

Hope this info helps more than hinders.
