help with dreamcast roms - SOLVED

hiya, ive downloaded several roms under the dreamcast section for use with my dreamcast emulator.

when i unzip them, i find that i have a long list of files. something like this:

.001
.002
.003
all the way to .033

and 1

.sfv file.

there isnt any CDI or ISO file present and i cant play the game. am i doing something wrong or?

When you unzip the Dreamcast zip file it unpacks all the parts of the original 7zip file. In order to use this, please download 7zip and use it to unpack all of the .001, .002 etc files. You will then be able to extract the correct file for use with the emulator.

do i have to extract all the numbered files or just 1 ?

all of the numbered files that you have (.001 all the way to .033) need to be in the same folder, then highlight them all and extract them all at once. Then you will have your CDI or ISO file to run. :3

I'm new to all this and I have all the original consoles and games. Now I have a baby, my games room has been turned into the babies room and everything is in the attic! lol.
