Well thank you and welcome. I have been computer and gaming mad since I was 10 years old back in 1982. This site started in 1999 as a simple hobby but has now become something else alltogether.

Hi...I just joined this site the other day and am finally getting around to posting here on the boards. I took a few minutes to browse the site and the forums and was so impressed by the dedication and support to this worthwhile project that I of course immediately had to donate something. I've seen many ROM sites but none with the ambition, enthusiasm and genuineness that this ones shows.

I live in the U.S. I lived in Florida up until I was an adult and then I relocated to the Midwest. I'm 25 years old and I love video games. I own a Xbox 360 and 30+ titles on it but it has never been able to replace for me the purity of the classics. Being mostly a child of the 90s it's that generation's consoles that particularly appeal to me and in particular I'm a huge Nintendo fan. I also love the later PS2 and Dreamcast (who I will always reminiscence of and romanticize as Sega's heartbreaking departure from the console market).

I also wanted to add that the mega packs are a super fantastic and convenient idea and I hope to see more of those. Aside from that, I look forward to getting to know all of you better and enjoying the community.

Its good to get a new member that wants to get involved. Yes, our mission here is to simply have every rom for every system . Its a job that has already taken 10 years of my life and hopefully at least 10 more.

The mega packs are a great bonus for unlimited members, unfortunatly when the system has large roms (Dreamcast) a mega pack is unlikely to happen. That is until everyone's average ADSL speed is 100MB.
