In the early morning hours of January 3rd, the Japanese website TGBUS.com broke the news that a 3DS had been stolen from a Chinese factory. The culprit is well none other than a worker from that factory.
It seems he had the entire operation planned as once he was home free, he took quite a few nice shots of the system. Unfortunately, it would appear as if he stole the system before it was entirely finished. He cannot play any games on it nor even access the system menu for that matter.
Gaming blog Kotaku contacted Nintendo about the theft, but it has yet to hear a reply. I already feel sorry for this man. I can't imagine what Nintendo will do to his poor soul.
I included the pics of the system in a spoiler. However since these are pictures of a stolen, yet to be released system, I can't guarantee that they will be there forever.
