Forum board pictures on the main page...

Ok, I'm looking at these pictures next to the separate boards here on TOC, and I am having issues focusing on the links that are the boards. The reason why is because I look at the pictures before I look at anything else. They're... how can I say this... distracting. I see the picture and not the link, then I see the link, but another picture above or below that link distracts me and makes me lose my train of thought. I guess I'm saying: Please replace the pics with smaller icons (see img) before the links on the main page of the forums.

The reason I made these four larger was because they are the four main sections. I can make them smaller but I quite like the fact that they are not all the same. What does everyone else think, I am open to suggestion here.

I like even-ness. These four icons aren't even... they aren't nicely organized. Their size simply looks ugly in contrast to the rest of the board. >.>'

Sorry, they REALLY bother me. I respect what you are saying though trout, and it is your board. I'm just letting you know what I think about them really. You know, actually, just shrink the size a bit without making them the same size as the rest. like say smack in the middle between the small icons size and those large icons size. That actually would be less distracting but still point out the main sections of the board.

i think its the white border around them that makes them ugly to me. but, I'm cool with them

Oh. Just like that, they're perfect. Large enough to tell people "hey, lookie here" but not so large that they're saying "I DEMAND YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION" :3

the only thing i don't like about them is the white backgrounds they have. Maybe if they had transparent backgrounds it would look even better. Other then that i say it's a
