And my info that this was still operational may be incorrect, and am still trying to determine whether it is or not.

Update: as of August 2019 this was in operation on a daily basis. My efforts to contact the operator have failed.

Now thats my kind of Retro hardware. Very cool indeed. I have a suggestion for you crusty. Would you like to BLOG for the site with interesting topics just like this one? How are your writing abilities?

I would love to convert the existing (somewhat dead) blog into the forums as a new blog but would also love to have someone else as well as me adding good quality content to it.

What say you?

I wouldn't mind doing some blogs on retro stuff as i find it. Never did a blog before, my writing skills are basic, what you see on TOC, is what you get! My marks in school for literature where in the very poor category. Meaning I am no genius at writing if the marks have any meaning. But yes, I would like to give it a try.

PS: any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

PPS: Where do you want me to put the blog? On the blog page or in the forums?

I could create a dedicated forum which would just be theoldcomputer blog. They lots of us could present storys for inclusion and if they are good enough we post them. This could then in turn replace the actual BLOG that I used to do but dont have much time for now.

I would expect concise well written content, embedded pictures and very few if any outside links.

There's so much I want to do!!! But I can't handle it!!! Arghh it irritates me. I wanna do the game system info. I wanna do the blog. I wanna do the... Well I have to do the DEB and RPM packages. Arrgh. Lol
