Old TV Commercials

Just now i was able to download one of those tv commercials at an average rate of 900 kb/s

Even though i was not logged into the site and a message on the top of the page said "You are logged in as a guest and limited to 64kb/s. You need to read this thread and register, then login to obtain 3x Faster Downloads (192 kb/s)."

I was able to download at a faster rate then 192kb/s being "un-registered" at the time of the download.

Am i missing something?

i think it just for the roms

Correct Guys,

The download bandwidth limits CURRENTLY are limited to the Roms section only. In the future they will also apply to the emualtors section. Interestingly the 900KB/s speed you get is what you could expect with an unlimited account when using the roms.

Worth considering if you dont already have one.

Not many sites offer almost 1MB download speeds

Oh that makes a little more sense. But then why is the message that im limited to just 64 kb/s there, if im allowed to go over that limit?

EDIT: maybe i was wrong on the speed of the download...in a good way though. I was just able to download a 3mb file in a matter of 1/2 second It was downloaded before the dialog came up saying i was downloading something. About as fast as downloading one of those Atari roms.
