Help a new member to download !

Hello guys,

I just fascinated by this site and decided immediately to donate to become an unlimited member. Whomever keeps alive the memory of our happiest years of life gaming has all my support !

I have to say that I am struggling a bit to make some use of the site though.

At this stage I would like to download emulators + Noms for Mac and iPad but have to confess that I am totally loss by the very complex interface of the site.

Any hints on how helping a dummy here ?

As a start I would like to download game + emulator for Commodore 64 and Amiga for MAC. Though if I click all links I get into an infinite number of sub menus and I have no idea what to pick !!!

I would be extremely grateful for any hint/pointing you may have !!!!

i personally recommend VICE. it is very accurate with options for disk emulation, peripherals and alot of other settings. VICE also supports other Commodore computers like the C128, VIC20 and several others. VICE also comes with a SID player so you can listen to .sid files.

unfortunately, i can not recommend one of the emulators that are on this page because i have not used either one of them. and i haven't use a Mac computer since MacOS 8.0. you will also need the Amiga BIOS ROMs in order to use the Amiga emulators. but you will need to buy them (or ask an Amiga Guru {not me} to show you the path to enlightenment.)

Hi, I have become a member and donated, problem is how do you download games. Say I want to play Final fight do i down load
mame to file and then capcom rom. Struggling to understand?.

You need the ffight rom and the cps1 bios set.
If you use MAMEUI you can do an audit check to see what you are missing to run the game.

Hi, can you tell me, do you need a program or App to play games. I have down loaded some emulators and roms, but stiil no joy.
