DISCUSSION | Problems With Unlimited Account

Hello there,
I upgraded to "unlimited" long time ago and the status was displayed correctly and the download speed was quite good every time.
But I was never able to download more than six files at the same time. The download window says that I have to wait for a free server port. But I tried so many different times on so many different days, that I think that there must be another problem.
The next thing is: Since a couple of days I'm not able to download more than ONE file at the same time! When I want to downloiad a second file a message box appears and it says that I'm not allowed to download more than 25 files at the same time, what really confuses me!

So I created another account and I donated again 15$, but also with the new account I'm not able to download more than 6 files at the same time!!

What to do now?

Sorry, still the same: "Sorry, you cannot download more than 25 files at once, please login and/or Upgrade to increase your download limits and speed."

I have only ever been able to download 6 files at once and then my connections to the site are maxed out as well, can't load any pages or anything. It has been that way since I upgraded to unlimited. I always figured it was some server limitation.

There are limitations but they are far higher than that for Unlimited members. I have not been able to replicate this issue from here and I suspect that it is linked to busy times on the server platform.

Well I certainly don't sweat it; it seems like a server thing to me, after I get 6 downloads going the browser will always say waiting for an available socket when trying to do anything more on the site. 6 is certainly good 'nuff.

I was seeing the same issue as other unlimited users and not being able to download more than 6 at a time. The most downloads I can have is 6 until Chrome tells me "waiting for available sockets". Once it reaches this point, I am also unable to open any other pages from the website. It gives the same notice about available sockets. Once a file finishes downloading, I can once again open another page or download. Firefox does the same thing but only opens a blank page.

However, if I use IE, I dont have any issues. So seems to be a problem affecting Chrome/Firefox.
