TOC Unlimited User DL Speed

Hi hottrout,

I'm just wondering why my download speed has always been so slow from here. I own an unlimited account, and I do sign in when I download something, but is there a reason it goes at about 256KB/s? I understand that there must be a cap, but to here? I live in the US, and doing a speed test told me my dl speed can go up to ~65MB/s. Can something be done about this this year? Thank you,

Thank you for your comments. The speed is as fast as we can afford at the minute. We have a dedicated (non contended) 100Mbit connection with unlimited bandwidth. This is actually very good but because we are SOOOOOOO busy it tends to feel slow most of the time. At certain times it can burst to 800kbit a second.

If we had more money it would be a dedicated 500Mbit line but for now this will have to do.

We will get it faster through time. Also a big change will come with v2 website which will offer Unlimited members a lot more privileges over normal members.
