Weird - Wacky - Glitches of Retro games

Postby crustyasp46 » Sat Sep 11, 2010 4:40 pm

The one glitch I found in Mario World was on level two when you go down the tube to collect coins I jumped on the vertical tube and ran on top jumping trying to hit the higher blocks to break. Did this three four times and jumped just as I came to the wall and got hung up inside the wall and had to restart the game. Level two may be wrong as I haven't played Mario in a lot of years.

Weird - Wacky: our daughter could play Mario world start to finish with her back to the TV and beat the game with pretty impressive scores. She did this by the music and t could tell her where she was in the game. An amazing gift, and way too much time on Nintendo. :bow1: :bow2: :good: :mario:

If she can still do this I suggest that you record this for youtube. It would be a youtube sensation me thinks

I will get in touch with her, I can always loan her a Nintendo, I imagine she would have to practice for awhile, before she could do it again. But even yet she associates music with things that are going on around her. She has an amazing ear for music. :good:

Make sure crusty if and when you get this vid up on youtube (provided you actually get vid footage) to record yourself so we can see ya. Actually, I'm off to make a picture thread for showing each other who we are behind the keyboard. :D

Was talking with my daughter this morning, I mentioned and asked her if she thought she could still do the Mario thing on the Nintendo, and mentioned the YouTube thing. Her answer was that she would not do that and make an ass of herself, and gosh that was more than twenty years ago, and I am grown up now and not a kid. All the self perceived, I AM AN ADULT NOW crap. Let me work on her for a bit, " I have my ways" and can be persuasive at times. My first goal will to get the Nintendo and game in the door and go from there.

What does being an adult have anything to do with showing off a cool talent? Where's the logic behind that? 0.o
