How do you get these roms? Do you dump these yourself directly from the official discs, cartridges, floppies, and cassettes? I am sure not all roms were released on the market but I am interested in knowing for the ones that were. Do you test each rom as well after being dumped to make sure it works correctly?

I have collected these in many different ways. Some are dumps by myself, some are taken from my every increasing collection of retro computers and consoles. A lot are donated to me by owners of machines and the larger sets like MAME, MESS and such are downloaded from source from like minded individuals like myself. After 14 years of this, most people out there know who we are and they send stuff to me.

I simply can't check every rom to see how they play but I do check them all for malware.
