Downloaded the Rom...so how do I play?

Hi everyone,
I just joined this site because I suddenly got nostalgic for a Tandy game I used to play as a kid. I'm not tech savvy, so I need some help. I was able to find the "rom" for the game - The Interbank Incident - and I downloaded it. The download gave me a zip file with 3 .dsk extension files. After googling what I needed to open a .dsk file, I downloaded WinImage. However, WinImage keeps telling me it can't read the files, even though the little disk icon shows up next to the file name. Any help?

Took the liberty of moving your topic here, viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4573 and hopefully someone will jump in to help you. I am at a loss when it comes to roms and emulators.

first, the .dsk files are ment to be used with an emulator. you can find TRS emulators here http://www.theoldcomputer.com/emulators ... el-I-III-4

Thanks for this! I'm absolutely new to all of this. I downloaded the only Tandy emulator for Windows on the site. I did happen to find somewhere on the internet that someone suggested playing this particular game on a MESS emulator. So I downloaded one of those, too. Now, I can't figure out how to play the Rom in either of these emulator. Any suggestions on where I go from here?

which emulator did you get? i found 4 TRS-80 emulators in the Windows sub-section of the Tandy-Raido-Shack emulators section.

It is HT1080Z. I have no clue if that was the right choice...

as much as it pains me to say this. it looks like you will have to try to use the MESS emulator to play "The Interbank Incident". i would like to help you out more, but i don't know anything about MESS. i am very sorry that i'm not able to help you further.
