Good because I have just donated 'thinking' that I would simply be able to download reasonably up-to-date complete ROM and CHD packs for MAME only to be very disappointed with what is actually available in an 'easy-to-use' format.
I am now wondering whether I go away and find an alternate to do my initial downloads as I can not find a 'sets' that are just the upgraded ROMS more recent that 0/144 (maybe its me) - and then I have to D/L them all individually. And as for CHDs I have always avoided these due to my D/L capabilities but know that this is no longer a huge issue I was quite excited to try and get the CHDs only to find once again that the collections available are very dated and it will be VERY time consuming to individually D/L and update to the most recent bit-by-bit. I don't mean to complain and whine but the current availability for my area of interest - MAME - is not very well supported at the moment. I look forward to future updates and changes.
I'm not even asking for each and every FULL ROM SET to be available at each update. I think it should be available every few updates or a couple of times a year that's for sure ALONG with the update only files. IMHO only of course.
