Download and Save Issue

First - many thanks for the site - much appreciated.

Now my question - and I am sure I am doing something really silly.

I am trying to save the 142 ROMS (or any older version of MAME). I know I need to save the four files (1,2,4,5) to a single directory and then use 7-zip. But when I "right click" on the link, the target is being saved as "Index.php".

From reading other posts, this appears to be a browser config error. I have tried Firefox, IE, Opera and Chrome but having the same issue on all 4. That is what stumps me.

Like I said, I am sure I am doing something silly but if someone can help me, I would appreciate it. And perhaps it will help someone else? Many thanks!!

try left clicking on the download link instead of right clicking.

Hi fantastic site , still lots to learn I'm a newbie, I'm having an issue downloading any rom , problem being they all downlad as an htm file, I'm using an android samsung galaxy tab 2, also samsung s3 cell phone, no problem withh coolrom as rom downloaded as a zip correctly just wondered does old computer only work using a pc to download the roms, thankyou in advance for a helpful reply

Try running your mobile browser in Desktop Mode so it loads the site as it would on a computer.

Can i play these roms on ipad mini?

You would need an emulator which would run on an iPad Mini depends on what roms you want to play. I also think you need to jailbreak said device to run third-party apps like emulators. I also recommend getting an Android device if you serious about emulation on a mobile device

You can only download one rom at a time with the current version of the website but Hot Trout is currently working on v2.0 of the website where you will be able to download multiple files and many more cool features which is due in 2015. We are sorry for any inconvenience
