No Luck Finding This C64 Game

Postby RadCazz » Tue Dec 17, 2013 9:06 pm

Sometime during the mid 80s my cousin came to visit and brought along a bunch of C64 disks. One of the games was called "Escape From New York" and was based on the movie by the same name. The game starts where you have to land the glider on top of a building - in a top-down isometric view. It was really tough. The next level had you, as Snake, running down the alleyways avoiding the "crazies" that reached up from the sewers trying to grab you and pull you under. I could never get past this level.

Well, years later I was thinking about this game I played and was wondering if anybody ever heard of it? played it? I can't seem to find it. I'd love to try to beat it this time!

I'm not sure if I'm not breaking any rule, but... there's no other way to point you to it. You can find it here.

It's hard to say - I see a floppy image called "ESCAPE-N.D64" which might be the game in question. But unfortunately I can't check it (I don't have a C=64 emulator on my system at the moment) and I wanted to be sure.
