I need help please, I can't download roms anymore... :(

Well first to all hello to all! congratulations for this amazing page!

I know the existence of this page from a few of years, but I never register here, until now.

I recently have a rare problem when I try to download roms, yesterday I was downloading a few of nes roms without problems, but soon I get this:

Sorry, you cannot download more than 1 file at once

This happen all the time from yesterday, I try 3 differents web browsers, Firefox, Chrome and Epiphany, without luck...

Please, someone can tell me how I can fix this problem?

I moved tour topic to the appropriate forum.

As a registered user you are only able to download a single rom at a time. The reason for this is to allow all users an equal opportunity for downloading.

I can maybe shed some more light on this. Just recently I have been working on a download control code to stop some members from download 400+ files at a time. This obviously kills the site for everyone else.

I am testing the new code since yesterday which is why you are feeling the pain. Please bear with me for a day or so. The current settings are

Guest 1 DL/at a time
Registered 3 DL/at a time
Unlimited 10 DL/at a time

It is important to remember to log into the roms and emulators sections or it will always see you as a guest.

I would also appreciate your feedback on the new idea.

I know that dude, I download a single rom at a time using Google Chrome (not download managers), but this message error appers when I'm not downloading nothing.

I see, so the problem I have is because you is working in things? Well, glad to hear that, I was think I was ban from here.

It is working now, so as a registred member you should be able to download 5 files at a time. Let us know if this is not the case.

I want to report that some US NES roms downloads not work for me, like Jetsons Cogswell's Caper.zip, Krusty's Fun House.zip and maybe there some other I not remember right now.

Hmm interesting, I have reports of some other NES roms not working. I will investigate further and update this topic when I know more.

This particular problem is now fixed. Thank you for pointing it out to me.

The apostrophe in the file name was breaking the code.
