nesticle not downloading

I had Nesticle for years and absolutely loved it. Had to have some computer work done and I lost all of my games. So I am back here trying to get them all back since this has always been such an awesome website in the past, but when I click on "Click here to download" (not the one on the page that lists them all, but after you click that first one, then goes to a page that has nesticle.zip at the top, ads, then "click here to download"), after I hit that one, it just jumps me back to the page that ask for Japan or USA. Please someone, tell me how to get my games back.

Ps - loved the old website. no comment yet on the new one - have to see if it works.

No need to worry. Hot Trout is still making the massive transition over to the new download engine and its just a bug thats linking you over to it.

The roms tho are still intact and its a better idea to use the newer engine (the one that you got linked too) to download the roms you want

I was an avid user of NESticle95 but I found RockNESx v2.0 FINAL:

I haven't stopped using it since... Better support all around and better emulation, although it doesn't emulate a lot of games outside of 85 mappers (out of around a rough 400+ mappers).

From the readme.txt included:

"The following extra hardware is also emulated:

Mappers: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,13,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,
32,33,34,40,41,42,43,44,57,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,75,76,78,79,83,85,
88,90,91,92,94,97,99,100,101,110,113,117,118,119,151,160,180,184,187,189,225,
226,227,228,229,230,231,232,233,234,235,240,243,246 and 255."

So I recommend RockNESX v2.0 FINAL to you if the roms you play are inside of these mappers. (which most of the main titles were :p)

Also, another emulator that is highly advised and well reviewed is the FCEUX. This thing is pretty ridiculous and ive never had any problem with any game.

Its also used on the homebrew wii (like mine) to emulate the nes roms and such
I understand though about nesticle. It has its on repertoire and feel.

FCEUX is my NES emulator of choice, too.
