So I'll do some downscaling soon and continue scanning 'Aaargh' and 'Secret of Monkey Island'.

Cheers :cheers:
ha-ha you think this is shocking. ..? try to scan the cover in 1200 Dpi and select output as TIFF uncompressed .. ;)

for web display 100-200 Dpi is a good quialty.

1200 is huge overkill unless you plan to print a big poster out of it and even then it is a serious overkill .

Thanks for the info ;).

@HotTrout: I will now send you the Loom manual and Aaargh! box scans.
I've found a nice downscaler that I used to bring them down to about 20% of the original scan size ;).

More will follow then I've got some time.

@HT, will they also be going to the Boxart section on the main website?

I saw there's a nice place for box art scans, but no PC games section there yet :roll:

Got several more games waiting to get scanned, but it's quite a time consuming business, especially since my scanner is kind of crappy :P .

I would like to ask you guys which gamebox/manual scans you would be most interested in?

Got the following games:
* Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade (box+manual)
* Monkey Island 1 (manual)
* Monkey Island 4 (box + manual)
* 9 (manual)
* Knights of Xentar (manual)
* few more...

Thank you! :thumbup:

Hi there HT!

Will the box arts and manuals also be visible on the main site (where there are now only Atari manuals)?

Hope to hear from you :D

:cheers:

Stinow,

There is going to be an entirly new section dedicated to manuals just like the retro music section. I already have the graphics and code done and was just compiling my collection to get it started.

Like all the other aspects of what we do here, when we decide to do it, we will do it right :typing:
