You got stuck in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and it took you 3 years to get anywhere? Seriously? I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound rude, but... LOL. Now, I can't say anything really, because I've never beat the original Zelda because I can't figure out Ganon's dungeon (dungeon 9). However, I've REFUSED help from ANYONE or a strategy guide either. I will figure it out on my own when I feel like it. :D

Anyway, I don't approve of walkthroughs because what's the fun in having someone else tell you how, when, and where to do something to further the game's plot/story... Or tell you where all the secrets are? Where's the fun in that? Did you know I've found EVERY secret PERIOD on DOOM and DOOM 2 without EVER using a cheat code or strategy guide? There's no point... Just work on figuring things out for yourself and you'll see. It's the same thing I said in your hiding thread.

Don't wait for someone to take your hand and walk you through everything. Learn for yourself and advance on your own. If you can't figure it out now, just save, put the controller down (or put another game in) and go back to it in around an hour. I swear what you just absolutely couldn't figure out before becomes so evident you'll be kicking yourself in the 'nads and wondering how you didn't see that before. Sometimes a break is all you need. X3

Dont be too hard on gamfrkI he is just adding content and getting involved. I tend to agree that Walkthroughs are a bit pointless, having said that I have used the odd one to get through some games I just wanted to complete.

I looked at the games you have, and the hours you play games on your signature, and to me those are game stats, plus your user name kind of helps too, and you don't have to apologize for how you play, I was expressing how I feel. Just my own feelings. Keep on tucking there gamfrk1 :!: :!: :)

Now I wasn't trying to be hard, just offering words of wisdom. Plus, everything I say never has malice or anger behind it, unless the whole post is either in caps, or I don't state that there isn't anger or malice behind it. If it meets either of those pieces of criteria, then yea... it's angry... and probably full of malice. X3

Anyway, I'm not trying to offend anyone, just know that there are some things that really get me going, and thus far gamefrkI just happened to stumble on two of them back to back. Just bad timing really, and I gave everyone something to make fun of me for. No one, and I mean NO ONE that I've ever met have played the first zelda and NOT beaten it. I was just stating that, because thus far I'm the only person I know that hasn't beaten the first zelda. It's a sinch compared to OoT, but according to me it's harder. :p IDK, rambling now... :ugeek:
