.139 Roms ...

Hi everyone,

So I'm trying to hunt down some 139 version Roms, Can anyone tell me why the versions jump from 137 to 140 in rhe MAME section?
Can anyone tell me why there are no 139 Roms available here? All other versions seem to be?

I haven't been able to source 139 Roms ANYWHERE, & I've been trying for weeks now. If anyone could point me in the right direction i would be sincerely indebted to them..
Failing that, I haven't got a clue how to convert newer Roms to an older version, using clrmamepro or similar, is this possible? It's only a few Roms I'm looking for.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

The reason we starrt at 0.140 is because that is considered the start of the new sets of mame. I added 0.37 and 0.37b for people using iOS and Android devices because of the version and size.

If you let me know excatly why you need 0.39 i could organise to upload them for people to have, if you think there would be a benefit.

Well the thing is I'm using mame4all on the iPad which is projected to a full screen & wii classic/icade control setup. It's a really cool way to run mame. However there is a new version available for ios now which was rewritten from the ground up by seleuco & that is mame4ios reloaded. This version confers many benefits over the older mame4all emu, for instance it's a hell of a lot easier to map buttons & access options etc. on top of that there is the fact that it runs a newer rom version so many more games are compatible.
Reloaded is specifically designed for the newer iOS devices ( there is an android version also which uses .139 roms so many more will benefit not just me!) & I'd like to use the full potential of my iPad 3 CPU to run games such as mslug3-4 & X which at the moment I simply can't get in 37b5 format.

The problem is I simply can't find .139 anywhere. This is the best site I've visited & I thought I would chance askin...??

anyway its rewritten & based on a 2010 pc mame build, hence it requires those .139 roms.

Apparently if I knew what I was doing I could download a newer romset & convert it using clrmamepro but that program nearly melted my brain trying to understand it.. Andafter 4 weeks of this im on the cusp of giving up (unfortunately).., would be nice if I could just chuck some nice dude a £10er & get the roms I need hassle free..... LOL

Yeah I too thought it was very odd that the Rom versions totally skipped 0.139, however has all the other set consecutively. I would like 0.139 to be available to use with the Mame4droid reloaded app because that is the desired romset. Just like to other app Mame4droid requires 0.37B5.
I too have tried to understand the CLRMamepro tutorial and have trouble making sense of it all. It is a very detailed tutorial, however I just don't fully understand everything. I feel like some steps are so vague.
If you could make the 0.139 roms available it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Between myself and two other mame contacts as well as the help of an underground site, I have managed to collect the 0.139 mame rom set. It is 25GB

, so be prepared for a download. I will get to uploading ot before the weekend hopefully.
