I think that what gamefrkI meant is a spoiler button that a poster could use to hide part or all of his/her post. The main reason for this is to hide large pictures and to prevent from spoiling the plot of a game/movie/book/show. It would be up to the author to use this when the post is written.

OK, it is an idea but I am note sure how to go about that in phpbb3. At the minute I am more focused in the new emulator section. SOrry to be a bore but I really want to get the emulators off to a flying start.

Well, then why would you start out by saying to hide long posts and pictures, then change to a spoiler button, which btw I've never seen on any forum... not to mention it would just be damn near impossible to get to work right, and besides, that's why the poster needs to put SPOILER in the title of the thread so that the end user knows not to look at that thread if they don't want a spoiler. There shouldn't have to be any work involved for that... Trout shouldn't have to slave to create a hide spoiler button when the end user should know better than to go into a thread with the word SPOILER in the title... >.> See my point? IDK, sounds rude again, I know. Sorry. T_T
