Strange games?

Postby mystictrav » Wed Jun 27, 2012 6:55 pm

Hi,

There are a lot of games out there especially for the retro and older pcs. Out of all those what is the most unusual game you have played and did you like it or not?

I've played a few that would fit into this category, but the strangest one has got to be "Relentless: Twinsens Adventure" an action/adventure/scifi game from adeline. It has the strangest characters i've ever seen in a game. There are tall rabbits called rabbibunnies, elephant shaped beings called the grobos, and roundish characters called spheros. These spheros are the funniest as they'll hop, flip and yes, even roll to get around. I liked this game despite its difficulty it has an interesting story.

Well, back in the days when I had a Twilight cd/dvd collection, there was this game I found on a disc as a growing up kid. It was called 'Ultra Vixen' and was totally weird.

Adult type game, with (as I remember) some really whack :headbang: sexual shit in it  .

LOL now google-ing for some images and you will know what I mean :wtf: .

Back when i was young... I played a game called Owltree (Google and Mobygames does not know this game). It's a game for the tandy 1 and clones (i played it on the EACA Video Genie).

it was a strange game like Rubix clock kind.

And don't forget Galaxy Invaders. A Space invaders clone for the Tandy clone :freakout:

I could make some screenshot if some wants some. (because also Galaxy Invaders in not googlable).

As i recall lots of the Tandy games are not googlable....

That game was the reason for me to join. I found it in your roms after some intensive google work.

UltraVixen2:Demon Seed by Pixis
1997/1998

Download UltraVixen Life Form Virtual Pet [1.5MB] (pc only)
ultravixen2.jpg

The Ultra Vixen series began with a game featuring heroine Ultra Vixen. Once a normal college girl, Ultra Vixen is kidnapped to outer space and forced to develop special sexual powers. The premise of UltraVixen 1 is that the player must help UltraVixen train her sexual powers for battle. She is strapped to a menacing sex machine and the player uses various implements to bring her to climax. In UltraVixen2, UltraVixen is kidnapped by an alien ship and trapped by a horny demon. Ultra Vixen Life form is a small virtual pet game featuring Ultra Vixen. Although developed by Western adult game developer "Pixis", the UltraVixen Series draws heavily on Japanese hentai plots and the characters are 3-D modeled anime figures. But like Western games, narrative is preliminary and interactivity follows. In the UltraVixen Series, like much of interactive digital erotica, the assumed subject position of the player is hetero male and unfortunately this series often veers into the chauvinistic and misogynistic. Nevertheless, the Ultravixen Series is an interesting model for what less narrative and more interactive erotic games could be like.

Thanks Crusty, its been forever since i saw that cover. I might still have a copy of that game somewhere. I remember it was odd in a funny sort of way and it had some nice music.

I never thought I'd see Ultra Vixen here though the last time i saw it was in an old PC Gamer I got a while ago

Just thought that a cover shot, if available, would give the topic more meaning of what you were talking about :?:
