i've managed to fix the cpu problem, i turned off any texture and lighting stuff that wasn't in the early dos release of doom (i have ver 1.02). i also switched the blood splater from sprites to particles and tweaked the sound options. i think i may need to get the wad files from the latest releases of ultimate doom and doom2.

I am not sure that it is visible. Kherr can you give me some advice on how to make sure it is working?

Kherr wrote:Your server may not be visible HT due to not having the ports on your firewall/router open. You need to open both tcp/udp in a range from 10650 to 10700 to ensure that skulltag will work properly. OR your server isn't broadcasting to the new masterserver, it may still be trying to broadcast to the old masterserver. Either of these are the issue, I promise. :3

@HT: I've already said why it isn't showing up HT. HOWEVER, I'm going to link you to the instructions page on skulltag's forum board on how to get your server to change to broadcasting to the new masterserver.

LINK: I would link you, but apparently the skulltag forum boards are down, so I will give you instructions provided that it is NOT your firewall on your computer/router that is blocking your servers from being broadcast properly.

i know this has nothing to do with our Doom servers but you have to check this out. useing doomseeker,
search for FlufyBuny's. and you will find a sonic doom server and a Super Mario Doom server.
theres even a 007 GoldenEye server! you have to check these servers out! :!:

The server will usually be up anytime between say 12pm PST to 5pm PST in general, sometimes it may even show up sometime around 6pm or 7pm PST... It all really depends on when/if I decide to launch it... And this can be on either just one day of the weekend or the whole weekend, it all really depends on how much I feel like playing doom. It may not even run at all on some weekends... It really is just a "when I feel like playing" thing... So don't plan too firmly for playing on the server during certain times.
