Mame/pc controllers

Hey, just wondering what you guys choose for controllers for Mame etc.

Sadly Since my grand plan of using the conservatorie as a game room with the building of a full size cabinet has been scuppered, it's now full of the son's weightlifting gear

So plan B, a decent quality arcade controller for my pc, I'm using a 360 controller and to be honest I just dont like it.

Now do I buy a ready assembled one or build one from hacked usb controllers, what do you guys use?

I dont use anything beyond the keyboard but stinow could most likely help you alot with this.

i use a keyboard half the time

with side scrolling shooters i use game pad and sometimes arcade stick with six buttons which is good for fighters.

I Personally use a XBox 360 Wireless for things that don't need precision, for those who do need precision, I use Keyboard

Hmmm, I dont really play that many actual pc games, mainly because I'm shoite at them & the fact 3d games give me motion sickness (which the two son's find hilarious...yes haha very funny ).

Much prefer the older arcade games, Seen a few double arcade joystick's on ebay for around £100 and some cheaper ones from china which to be honest look a bit crap.

I'll see if I can find a few reviews.

i have middle class arcade stick and it is decent,cost around 40$,not state of the art but it's good,the other ones cost 100-300$!

Well I found this on evil bay and won it for £4.99 I'm astounded it's arrived to be honest!.
Not a bad bit of kit at all.
