Jackal.nes might be a bad rom ...

Hi, I downloaded Jackal.nes, loaded it up on my original Wii, and when I clicked on it the screen froze. The Wii wouldn't even power off; I had to unplug it from the wall. I had actually tried this some time long ago and it did the same thing. I think I had to reinstall the HBC because it started having weird problems. (I tried it again because I wasn't sure if I'd downloaded it here.) This time it so far doesn't appear to have damaged the Wii at all, but I'm afraid to attempt loading it again. Of course this has never happened on my Wii with any other game. So I wanted to see if you guys can find any problems with it on your end. Thanks.

I just tried running Jackal (USA).nes from the Single Mega Pack in the Nintendo section and it worked fine in JNES for the PC. I will try downloading the normal version here in a second and testing for viruses, etc. as well as loading it in JNES. Please bear with me while I test this. Thanks!

I just downloaded and checked on the USA folder of the NES ROMs and found Jackal.nes working without issue. I noticed in the GoodNES libraries we have quite the few different copies of Jackal. Can you please let me know which one you may have downloaded? Thanks!

BTW, Jackal was one of my childhood favorites on the NES.
