welcome to the forums Cmngt1.
first, all of the roms and emulators that we offer here at theoldcomputer.com are %100 virus and malware free. we are very strict about this.
all of our roms and emulators are sorted by manufacturer and system. we do this to make it easy for everyone to find the roms and emulators that they want.
and if you ever have any trouble using any of the emulators or roms, just leave a message in the support section of the forums and one (or more) of our members will try to help you. :bowser:

Hi Cmngt1,

I have moved your post to the appropriate board, and I wanted to just let you know that I'll try and answer any questions you might have about which emulators to use to run which ROMS you want to play for which games you like. Just ask away and anyone here will try there best to help you out, myself included. :hi:

Welcome to TheOldComputer.com, enjoy! :)

I have just downloaded one of the megapacks for MAME (37b5). What emulator do you prefer with this pack? Also I've run into this issue with the other megapacks in terms of what emulators work best with them. Thanks for your help! :D

in my experience, choosing an emulator is mostly trial and error. i generaly download multiple emulators and try them out. this way i can judge which one is best for my needs and work well on my computer. it is abit time consuming to do it this way but it's also very educational.
