Tempest sound problems mame .155

I'm trying to upgrade from .120 to .155 but noticed none of the versions of Tempest have the same sound quality as my other version...they all sound corrupted. Any ideas why and if it can be fixed?

I tried downloading Tempest the other night and it wouldn't DL I had this ROM game about a year and a half ago and it played fine then. You wouldn't have a working old copy of it an older version perhaps ? I just posted about Galaga Gaplus and Dig Dug seem IM looking for them too when I tried downloading all them which I didn't have a problem before seems like there are either newer versions or they changed the files. Far as your sound problem goes for Tempest it may be a newer copy or version I think they did some up grading to these ROM'S in the last few years since I was last working with these sorta files. IM also looking for all the NAMCO files. Any way you might be able to help ? Just curious... JC
