Hello!


How I do to download complete rompacks?

I want to download this:
* http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/inde ... Mame-0.153 (2,39 GB)
* http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/inde ... Mame-0.154 (4,77 GB)

But a very big problem!
---> Unfortunately, it's too hard to download one file at a time in the case of several thousands of files.
So that you must do something about so you can download complete rompacks at once instead! Thanks in advance!

Good because I have just donated 'thinking' that I would simply be able to download reasonably up-to-date complete ROM and CHD packs for MAME only to be very disappointed with what is actually available in an 'easy-to-use' format.

I am now wondering whether I go away and find an alternate to do my initial downloads as I can not find a 'sets' that are just the upgraded ROMS more recent that 0/144 (maybe its me) - and then I have to D/L them all individually. And as for CHDs I have always avoided these due to my D/L capabilities but know that this is no longer a huge issue I was quite excited to try and get the CHDs only to find once again that the collections available are very dated and it will be VERY time consuming to individually D/L and update to the most recent bit-by-bit. I don't mean to complain and whine but the current availability for my area of interest - MAME - is not very well supported at the moment. I look forward to future updates and changes.

I'm not even asking for each and every FULL ROM SET to be available at each update. I think it should be available every few updates or a couple of times a year that's for sure ALONG with the update only files. IMHO only of course.

That should say I cannot find FULL SETS more recent than 0.144.

Is there by any chance a ballpark eta for this? I too just signed up and donated with the premise that this would be possible. Looking forward to these capabilities!! Thanks for the hard work with the site!

Once we have the new server in place (2 weeks away) I will upload the current entire MAME set and CHD set as a temporary solution to this problem. The new website version will have to wait a little longer, maybe later in the year or maybe early next year.

So no downloads are currently available?

Yea single files are a little much to download, as I am realizing already. 0_0

Guys i will be adding complete sets for mame 0.155 in the next two weeks. This will include CHDs as well.
