Hi,
I am building a mame cabinet with a raspberry pi and already found the type of roms needed for the mame emulator.
On piplay there is also a playstation 1 emulator, what are the type of roms that i need to use it?
Thanks and sorry for my crappy english

For the PS1 you would need iso images. There is I think around 390 gig of PS1 games in the SONY/Playstation 1 Rom directory to chose from.

Thanks for the reply.
I have downloaded a file from the folder u say and it is a winrar file.
I extract the file and then i get a .bin file and a .cue file, not an iso file like u say or is it the same?
For example: i downloaded ape escape.7n, which contains 2 files: ape escape.bin and ape escape.cue
Where can i put these files in piplay? I think it uses PCSX_REARMED

I dont use PI for anything so I can not suggest how to use things on it. and bin,cue file is essentially a copy of the original ps1 game just like a iso but in a different format. Usually the emulator can read the file directly or you will need to mount the file to a virtual cd drive. Again I dont know much about pi so I dont know what its running or what you would use to mount the image files.

I have it all up and running.
Now i can play ps1, neo geo, mame4all, atari 2600, NES,... games on the Raspberry Pi with no problems, some roms don't work but that is almost with every rom set that some don't work...
For the ps1 games the .bin and .cue are good, i didn't needed any iso files

LOL u think i am going to buy something of 230$ when i can make it myself for less then 30$?
I am verry happy with the raspberry pi, i got all available roms on some SD cards and i can take it with me to holiday's and just need to plug it into a screen. I have built a fightstick with the pi built in.
