Simcity for Macintosh is Broken

i downloaded the Macintosh version of Simcity ( which can be found here: http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/inde ... imulations ) and unziped it expectind to find either one or mre disk images or another compressed file that needed to be decompressed on a real mac (or and emulation of one ). but instead i get a folder that contains a bunch of useless files.

after i saw this, i figured that i messed up buy decompressing it in windows. so i used Basilisk II for Windows v.08 [build 142] ( emulating a Quadra 650 ) to import the zip file into a Mac OS (7.5.3). then i used Stuffit Expander 5.5 to decompress the zip file. but i got the exact same useless files as i got in windows.

i'm not sure, but it looks like someone pulled apart the executable and put the parts in a folder and compressed it. or something like that.

I dont have another version at the minute to upload. If anyone else has a copy they could send me I would appreciate it.

What version is it? I have some SIM City stuff for older machines. Whether I have a Mac version or not I will have to check. Doing a quick google I saw several versions ie : 4 & 5. Not a Sim player so don't Know a whole lot about it.

i don't know what version it is. i also downloaded the mac version of MS Flight Simulator and got the same type of stuff that was in the Simcity zip file. in the morning i'll download all of the files in the simulation section and check them out. if i could get a hold of the real 1.44MB floppy(ies), i could use Basilisk II to transfer the files from the real disks to disk images.
