Need help with rom nec pc 9801

Hi, I just download 5 roms from nec pc 9801 and it req install, they are zip files and when I extract they are fdd files type. Not sure what to do with them. I have downloaded anex86 and try to load the fdd files, but when i press start it said no disk. :(
Sorry but im quite new with these rom and emu :(

1. Just give up Anex - it's very old and discontinued, it's also one the worst PC-98 emulators out there. You should try Neko Project II (possibly a fmgen build).
2. You can't do anything with FDD images except to convert them to any other format recognizable by the emulator (FDI, D88). You need a converter called VFIC.
3. To install the games you need to prepare a bootable HDD image using DOS floppy image. Unfortunately both DOS and the installers itself are in Japanese only, so you're going to have a tough time unless you know this language.
I'm afraid you have stepped into one of the hardest retro platform to emulate, so I wish you a lot of patience and good luck - I consider myself a real emulator junkie and expert, but it took me almost three years to fully understand that one.
