Problem with my game

Ive been replaying pokemon silver. My issue is that there is a glitch while im on SS Aqua that doesn't allow me to see the little girl who I must talk to in order to get off the boat. I had already spoken to the grandfather and he accidentally gave me the Metal Coat before I found his granddaughter. When I reached the location of where she should have been she was not there and I skipped to the part where she was found. However I cant get off the ship and I dont see her at all.

I cant rewind. I had saved too late in the game to shut it off and restart it. (right after i spoke to the grandfather) Now Im at a loss. Ive tried walking through walls but it restarts my game at my last save with odd colors.
Can we insert her in the game somewhere so I can chat with her? is there anything I can do to avoid having to replay this game all over again?
I can't seem to find any answers to my issue...

Im running windows 7 on a GBC console if that helps in any way. I don't want to make multiple posts but Im reallly hoping there is something that can be done.
