Several times, I've downloaded the Super Mario Brothers NES rom (there's even a download pack with everything), and I keep getting the same glitched (read, unbeatable), undersea level hack. I can't locate a real working download, but the bad rom is here.

The same bad rom is also in the mega download pack.

I run it through Nestopia, and even had a problem on a DS NES emulator, the name of which I can't remember. The rom you linked works, but it's running into an issue with NTSC/PAL conversion. I'll try to find a US one.

I second this problem.

I tried the rom to Nestopia and Fceux and it had the same problem (showing the stage with the water) :freakout:

I've had this same problem. Tried using the rom for SMB + Duck Hunt and this seems to run perfectly fine for SMB.

I'm actually kinda shocked that HT hasn't posted in this yet. I would test this out for you and confirm it myself, but I kinda re-formatted my pc to Windows 7 Pro just a little bit ago and as such have no emulators or games currently installed. When I get around to installing them I'll be sure to check this out.
