Hi i'm a new member to this awesome site and I am in need of some help. I already have MAMEUIFX64 0.147 installed but no roms and thats where i need the help. I want to install the full MAME rom set but I dont know how to do this, I admit i'm a little confused on how to get this done.

Well, the full MAME set is several hundred GB, even more if you want the laser disc images.. so I would advise on a different goal of just the games you actually want to play. http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/inde ... older=MAME is where our ROMS for MAME are located and categorized by version.

Not to mention that the full set always includes various games that are (currently) in an unplayable state.

Make sense I will do that since I dont have the space to put them all in. But lets say I could do so how would I acomplish this? Well i guess my real question is are there games that would need to be patched just so they could work with the newer emu and how do you do this? Sorry for the extremely late reply.

well, if doing them one by one, you would go to the latest version and download all the roms you want. then go back a version and pick up the ones that weren't updated in the new set, and work your way back.

Also this is an amazing site and I bet it takes a lot of time and work to keep it up. I did not think twice on putting up my donation when I saw how extensive and well maintained this site is keep up the good work.
