Opening Roms in PCSX on Mac

Hey guys,

I've been following the useful advice on these forums to try to get Metal Gear Solid running on my MacBook Pro (10.5.8).

I've downloaded PCSX, the roms, the mooby cd thing, but I"m having trouble when I open the roms, and I"d like to know what I"m doing wrong.

When I click Run IOS and then select the rom (it ends in .bin) it opens the window as if it's going to launch the game but it also seems to open another window and it results in a seizure inducing flickering nightmare that can only be resolved by force quitting PCSX.

What am I doing wrong, or what do I need to do? I've tried to work it out but I've ended up going round in circles and confusing myself!

Your expertise would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

You asked for help with roms, and you did not get an immediate response to your question, the reason may have been that no one that looked at your knew the answer. Board forums and the help offered, is based on volunteers sharing their expertise as and when they visit. Maybe something you should think about. Your comment will surely bring throngs to assist you. NOT !

We humbly apologise for not being right here to assist you with your problem. Again, NOT.

In closing , the only one that seems to be wearing the label of "where the sun does not shine" is yourself.

Have a pleasant day and enjoy yourself.

Being disappointed after a wait of 9 days is hardly not getting "an immediate response". Perhaps I should wait until you get a catchphrase that's not from the late 80s. NOT!

The point being made here, was that your problem with the roms, is reliant on someone with knowledge to help you looking at the forum to help you. I was being polite using the catch phrase of the 80's. Your terminology in your second post was enough to get you banned, because if you are not happy, you can use another site or search for an answer to your problem elsewhere. End of discussion, Post is now locked, and a continuation of this in another thread will see you banned.
