[MAME] ROM startup issues

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the exact same problems as someone who posted about not getting 'Double Dragon' to work in MAME. For me this error count's for a LOT of games I have installed...

The error in MAME is:
"The selected game is missing or one or more required ROM or CHD images."

I also have the games downloaded, all still in the .zip files. There are multiple .bin files in the .zip's, but no .cue file or something.

Can anyone help me out with this also? I'd be glad to get the NeoGeo games working!

Does MAME require any BIOS with the newer versions and games? I haven't used MAME since MAME32.exe which was the GUI version back from 1998... I haven't used a newer version at all. lol.

Well, for NeoGeo it does require a neogeo.zip bios file to be placed in the roms directory.
I finally got it to work, but that was after I redownloaded and reinstalled a MAME version. In the .ini I pointed to the right directories and it (yeah baby) works now!

I'll find some more info on solving this issue and post it here later.
